Our materials ~ Borosilicate glass

Our glass rings are carefully handcrafted in Barcelona from borosilicate glass.

Unlike common glass, borosilicate glass is significantly more impact-resistant than common glass. It is less likely to break or shatter upon impact, which enhances its durability and longevity. The choice wants to ensure our rings can withstand everyday wear, to all your Apéritif occasions.

Commonly used for kitchen utensils, borosilicate's chemical composition guarantees remarkable scratch and chip resistance, preserving their beauty intact over time.

Flameworking

Also known as lampworking, this is the technique used by Sofia, our skilled artisan from Barcelona. It consists of working with borosilicate glass using a high-temperature flame. Commonly used in glass jewelry making and glass art, this technique involves melting and shaping glass rods or tubes using a gas-fueled torch. Each piece is unique and crafted by the magic of the movement of flames and the hands of the artisan.

Imagined for daily elegance

The inherent strength of borosilicate glass stems from its unique composition, which includes boron trioxide.

This addition enhances its structural integrity, making it highly resistant to breakage even when subjected to considerable force.

As a result, jewelry made from borosilicate glass offers wearers peace of mind, knowing that their precious pieces can withstand the rigors of daily wear.
