Welcome to our table ~ sharing a charitable meal with Middle Feast

Middle Feast is a charitable event in Barcelona that brings together gastronomy, music and art with the aim of raising funds for various humanitarian causes.

The name Middle Feast refers to the concept of gathering around tables and sharing food, coming from the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern regions, connected to the organizers' roots. This year they have prepared a menu for you inspired by the traditional cuisine of Gaza. 

All proceeds will go to UNRWA, the United Nations agency that supports Palestinian refugees.

When we first heard about them last year, we reached out immediately to ask how we could get involved.

Join the event for the sobremesa

In addition to the meal, you can also join the event for the sobremesa (this Spanish word we cherish for the after-meal gathering), where there will be music and a raffle featuring gift sets from many collaborators. We’re thrilled to be part of one of the sets with our latest addition to the Apéritif collection: Anisette, a transparent borosilicate ring.

In the first edition which took place in December 2023, they managed to raise around €4,000. These funds were donated to the Now You See Me initiative, an organization that distributes aid to refugees in various camps on the island of Lesbos, Greece.

At momarohé, we are thrilled to participate in Middle Feast once again (last year we contributed by gifting a handcrafted fan).

The spirit of unity, generosity, and collaboration that this beautiful group of people promotes deeply resonates with us.

This second edition of Middle Feast will be held on October 19th at Casa Montjuïc and October 20th at Hangar. Don’t miss it!
